Before your first meeting

A FEW GOOD
QUESTIONS.

Where should I start?

Come to a lunchtime meeting in C11 and tell us what interests you. You do not need to arrive with a finished project or a plan.

Do I need to know how to fly?

Curiosity is a good starting point. The club's purpose includes introducing the fundamental components of a drone and sharing responsible flying practices. Come ready to ask questions and learn.

Should I bring a drone or equipment?

Check with Ms. Tsai before bringing aircraft, batteries, tools, or other equipment to campus. Your first meeting can start with a conversation.

Can I suggest a project?

Yes—bring the idea to a meeting. Students' interests can help shape the conversation. Talk through the scope, equipment, and supervision an idea would need before making plans.

What if the school calendar changes?

The listed schedule is Wednesdays at lunch during the first and third weeks of the month. Check the current school club directory and confirm updates with the advisor, particularly around holidays and school events.
